Weekly proof, not guesswork
Capyo writes your llms.txt and shows you every week which shopper questions got you cited by OpenAI and Perplexity — plus the visits and orders arriving from ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
Your products, in a file AI can read
Every week, know which answers cite you
See the visits and orders AI sends you
Shopify gives every store a basic llms.txt. Capyo writes a better one: your products, prices, variants and availability in plain Liquid that never slows your store. You preview it before anything changes, and one click removes it.
What you get
Shopify gives every store a basic llms.txt. Capyo writes a better one: your products, prices, variants and availability in plain Liquid that never slows your store. You preview it before anything changes, and one click removes it.
Add the questions your customers ask, or start from the ones Capyo proposes from your catalog. Every week Capyo asks OpenAI search and Perplexity and reports what came back: cited, mentioned or absent — and what changed since last week.
From day one, even on Free, a web pixel records visits and orders from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini — so you know which assistant sends buyers and which sends browsers.
The receipts
Every number Capyo prints comes from a dated answer you can open: which questions cited your store, which mentioned you and which left you out.
Capyo asks OpenAI search and Perplexity through their APIs and reads the citations each answer returns. A citation on your own domain is the strongest outcome: surfaced.
An app cannot observe bot traffic, because crawlers run no JavaScript. Capyo sees only real shoppers arriving from AI assistants.
Each report says exactly how the numbers were produced and on which date, so you can judge the sample for what it is.
Why Capyo
Capyo fills it with your products, collections and policies — prices, variants and availability included — previewed before anything changes. One click takes it out. The file is the beginning, not the result.

Review the rendered file, write it to your theme in one click, or copy it by hand. Remove it the same way — nothing is written without your say-so.
Add the questions your customers ask, or accept the ones Capyo proposes from your catalog. Growth tracks 20 a week, Pro 100.
How many of your questions got you cited, per engine — with the citations, excerpts and what moved since the last run.
Inside your admin
A native Shopify surface built on Shopify's own design system, so it looks and works like the rest of your admin.
The llms.txt is plain Liquid rendered by Shopify, so it never slows your store. The only storefront footprint is a web pixel that runs in Shopify's strict sandbox.
Capyo keeps query text, engine answers and referral counts. Customer names, emails, addresses and phones are never read or stored.
Shopify's compliance webhooks are implemented: uninstalling deletes every row for your shop.
