Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-09-10
These terms govern your use of the Shopify app Capyo: ChatGPT Ads Pixel & ROAS and this website. Installing the app means you accept them. They sit alongside Shopify's own terms for app usage, which continue to apply.
1. Who you are contracting with
Capyo, operated by an individual developer ("we", "us"). Contact: gimbernat13@gmail.com.
Operator legal name and address: see the Privacy Policy.
"You" means the merchant that installs the app — the Shopify store owner, and anyone you authorise to use the app in your admin.
2. What the service does
The app installs the OpenAI Ads Web Pixel on your storefront (via Shopify's own pixel API, in Shopify's
strict sandbox), relays the standard storefront events to OpenAI's Conversions API using the Pixel ID and
Conversions API key you provide from your own OpenAI Ads account, sends a matching order_created
event from Shopify's orders/create webhook sharing the same event id so an order is neither
missed nor sent twice, builds a Google-format product feed from your catalogue (served at a private URL
or delivered over SFTP), and shows a report of orders matched to a ChatGPT ad click.
What it does not do: it does not manage or create ad campaigns, it does not write ad creative, it does not modify your theme code, and it does not promise or guarantee any change in your advertising results. It reports the numbers it can compute from the events it received; it does not improve them.
3. Plans, trials and billing
- Free — $0, no time limit: the Web Pixel and server-side Conversions API relay, up to 50,000 events per month, order dedup via the webhook, the last-24h health strip, the product feed (hosted URL or SFTP), and in-app alerts for pixel, feed and cap issues.
- Growth — $19 per month or $190 per year, with a 7-day free trial: everything in Free, up to 1,000,000 events per month, and the revenue report with CSV export.
- Pro — $39 per month or $390 per year, with a 7-day free trial: everything in Growth, up to 5,000,000 events per month, and priority support.
Shopify bills you, not us. Paid plans run on Shopify's Managed Pricing: the charge appears on your Shopify invoice, and Shopify's rules on trials, proration and refunds apply. A trial converts to the paid plan at the end of the trial period unless you cancel first. Prices are in USD and exclude any taxes Shopify adds.
Over your plan's event cap: browser events keep being counted, you see a banner and an alert, and sending to the Conversions API pauses after a 10% grace. Nothing is silently disabled.
Cancelling means uninstalling the app or downgrading to Free from the Plans screen. Either stops future charges at the end of the current billing period. Downgrading to Free moves Revenue to an upgrade card and lowers your cap to Free's monthly limit; the product feed and in-app alerts keep running on every plan — your settings and history are kept, not deleted.
We may change prices for new billing periods; we will tell you in the app before a change affects you.
4. No affiliation, no results promised
Capyo is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI. "ChatGPT" and "OpenAI" are trademarks of OpenAI. Attribution figures are computed from events the app received and may differ from Ads Manager.
Nothing in the app, on this website or in a support reply is a guarantee, prediction or promise of advertising performance. The revenue report reflects orders the app's pixel and webhook actually received and matched; it is a measurement, not an optimisation, and can differ from OpenAI Ads Manager's own numbers.
5. Your responsibilities and acceptable use
- The Pixel ID and Conversions API key you provide must be your own, issued by your own OpenAI Ads account. You are responsible for keeping them valid and for what your own OpenAI account does with the events sent to it.
- Do not use the app to send events you are not entitled to send, or to attempt to misattribute orders.
- Do not attempt to circumvent plan limits, reverse-engineer the service, resell it, overload it, or use it to attack Shopify, OpenAI or anyone else.
- You are responsible for keeping your own Shopify account secure and for what people you authorise do in your admin.
- You remain responsible for your own compliance with advertising, consumer-protection and data-protection law in the markets you sell into; this app is a measurement tool, not legal or advertising advice.
We may suspend an installation that breaches this section, and will tell you why.
6. Availability and support
We run the service on a best-effort basis. There is no service level agreement on any plan, and none at all on Free. Maintenance, hosting incidents, Shopify platform outages or a change on OpenAI's side can interrupt event delivery or the admin app. When the Conversions API is unreachable, queued events retry with backoff before being marked failed; they are not silently dropped without an alert.
Support is by email at gimbernat13@gmail.com. Pro installations are answered first. We do not promise a specific response time.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its code, its interface and this website belong to us. Your store data, your product information, and the events and reports the app generates for your store belong to you.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the fees you actually paid for the app in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. On the Free plan, that amount is zero.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost sales, loss of data, any advertising result or the lack of one, or for actions your own OpenAI Ads account takes on events we relayed at your instruction.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and for intent or gross negligence.
9. Termination
You can uninstall at any time, from your Shopify admin, without giving a reason. Uninstalling ends this agreement, stops future billing at the end of the current period, and starts the deletion described in the Privacy Policy. We may terminate an installation for a material breach of section 5, or if we discontinue the app — in which case we will give notice in the app first.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, with its date at the top. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version; if you do not, uninstall.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of establishment. Mandatory consumer and merchant protections of your own country remain unaffected.
