For Shopify stores running ChatGPT Ads
Capyo installs the OpenAI Ads pixel on your storefront, relays every event server-side through the Conversions API so ad blockers and closed tabs don't cost you a conversion, keeps your product feed in sync, and shows which orders came from ChatGPT ads. No vendor script on your storefront.

A Web Pixel extension running in Shopify's strict sandbox captures the standard storefront events and forwards them through OpenAI's Conversions API using your own pixel ID and key. Orders also arrive from the orders/create webhook, sharing the same event id, so a completed checkout is never missed and never double-counted.
What the app does
A Web Pixel extension running in Shopify's strict sandbox captures the standard storefront events and forwards them through OpenAI's Conversions API using your own pixel ID and key. Orders also arrive from the orders/create webhook, sharing the same event id, so a completed checkout is never missed and never double-counted.
A Google-format feed is built from your products and variants, served at a private URL or delivered over SFTP to the location shown in your Ads Manager. It rebuilds daily and again within 10 minutes of a product change.
Orders are matched to a ChatGPT click by the ad platform's attribution id or your landing page, so you get attributed orders, revenue, average order value and top products for the last 7, 30 or 90 days, with a CSV export.
Under the hood
OpenAI's browser pixel is a vendor script with no documented plain HTTP endpoint. Loading it inside Shopify's pixel sandbox would mean it never sees your real storefront URL — and would break the App Store rule against third-party scripts on the storefront. Capyo relays instead.
The extension subscribes to five standard Shopify events and beacons them in small batches to Capyo's own endpoint. Nothing else loads on your storefront, and nothing runs outside Shopify's sandbox.
Every event is forwarded to OpenAI's Conversions API using the Pixel ID and Conversions API key you paste from your own ads.openai.com account. Capyo never sends to an account it controls.
The checkout-completed event and the orders/create webhook are given the same event id before either reaches OpenAI, so a third-party checkout, an ad blocker, or a closed tab can't turn one order into zero or two.
Products tagged kliq-exclude are skipped; kliq-no-ads keeps a product out of ads eligibility without removing it from the feed. Everything else ships as a standard product-data TSV.
Why Capyo
Because the pixel sandbox can't see your real storefront URL, Capyo never loads OpenAI's vendor script. Every event — page view, product view, cart add, checkout, order — is captured by a Web Pixel extension and relayed from Capyo's own server to the Conversions API. Nothing third-party touches your storefront.
Get started →Attributed orders, revenue, average order value and your top products, for the last 7, 30 or 90 days, with matched-versus-unmatched counts and a CSV export. Numbers come from what Capyo's pixel and webhook actually received, so they can differ from Ads Manager.
Get started →An hourly check watches for a pixel that's gone quiet, a checkout no event ever reaches, a Conversions API that's failing, a feed run that broke, or a monthly cap you're about to hit — and shows a banner in the app the moment it happens.

Both come from your own ads.openai.com account. Saving them creates the Web Pixel on your store automatically — no theme edits.
Browse your own storefront and the health strip fills in within about a minute. Send a test event any time to confirm OpenAI accepted it.
The product feed is ready to enable on every plan, including Free. Upgrade to Growth or Pro to open the revenue report — it already has data waiting from the events you just sent.
Built the Shopify way
Lives in your admin like a native Shopify surface, with the review checklist's performance and design bar met from day one.
The relay design means OpenAI's own pixel script never loads on your storefront. One small fetch per event batch is the only network activity Capyo adds.
Capyo keeps order totals, line items and event counts. Customer names, emails, addresses and phone numbers are never read or stored — see the Privacy Policy for the exact data model.
Events go to OpenAI through your Pixel ID and Conversions API key, under your own ads account. Capyo never has an OpenAI account of its own in the loop.
The numbers
Capyo relays events the same way on every plan. The free tier is enough to see the pixel working; Growth and Pro raise the ceiling for stores running real ad spend.

FAQ
Only a Web Pixel extension running inside Shopify's own strict sandbox, which sends one small network request per batch of events. No vendor script from OpenAI or anyone else is loaded.
No. Capyo is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI. "ChatGPT" and "OpenAI" are trademarks of OpenAI.
Capyo is built to hold none of it. It stores order totals, line items and event counts — never customer names, emails, addresses or phone numbers. See the Privacy Policy for the full list of what's stored.
No — alerts show as banners in the app, free on every plan. The moment something needs attention — a quiet pixel, a failing feed, a cap you're about to hit — it shows up there, with an open/resolved history you can check anytime.
Nothing stops abruptly. Browser events keep being counted, you get a banner and an alert, and sending to the Conversions API pauses after a 10% grace once you're over Free's monthly limit.
Yes, on every plan including Free — point it at the location your OpenAI Ads Manager shows, or download the same feed from a private URL.
Not necessarily. It reports orders Capyo's pixel and webhook actually received and matched, which is a different measurement than Ads Manager's own attribution model.
Yes. The pixel and the server-side Conversions API relay run on Free, up to 50,000 events a month, no time limit and no card required.
